The Real Madrid squad returned to training with a demanding evening workout. The Whites completed a session with all eyes on their next pre-season run-out, which takes place on Wednesday against Red Bull Salzburg. After some running work, the players completed a circuit that featured both fitness and ball work. Next up, the squad split off into two teams to work on possession and pressure. The session was rounded off with matches on reduced-sized pitches. Castilla defender Adrián De la Fuente trained with the first team, whilst Brahim Díaz, who trained alone out on the grass, Ferland Mendy and Marco Asensio continued with their recovery programmes.
